I have been using Colloidal Silver since about 2003/04. I first heard about it on a raw feeding forum I was on and people were raving about how good it was.
I did some research about it to find out what it was about and why it was so good.
Silver is a naturally occurring mineral which has been known to be beneficial to health for around 2000 years. Before the advent of antibiotics, silver was used in various preparations to kill infections. People used to put a silver dollar in their milk to stop it spoiling.
A lot of medical research is currently being done on the healing properties of Silver and it is starting to get the recognition it deserves. Half of all major airlines use silver in their water to guard against water borne diseases. Research has also shown silver ions to accelerate tissue growth to aid healing with less scarring.
Why are there so many antibiotics on the market with more being "created" each year? Because each different antibiotic only kills a handful of specific types of infection. As normal, because it is man made, it does other types of damage to the body, which is why we are not supposed to use them for too long! The infections they are designed to kill, are now becoming resistant to them - look at MRSA for example - Colloidal Silver on the other hand, kills all infections, viruses, bacteria, fungus etc. the same way, no matter what type they are. At present it is known to help with or cure around 650 different ailments.
So, if it is so good, why is it not more available? Well, it is the old adage of corporate money making. Unfortunately, because Silver is a naturally occurring mineral, companies can't patent it and make millions out of it.
Ionic Colloidal Silver is silver particles suspended in pure water (usually distilled) with an electric charge. Silver is a natural mineral that our bodies should have in it through food, however, over farming of the land the mineral is all but lost to us naturally. Silver does not store itself in the body and is flushed out by the kidneys so you cannot "overdose" on it. You take as much as you need to kill the infection. Some people take a small amount daily as a "maintenance dose" to keep infections at bay.
I have personally found CS to be invaluable around the home and for me and my pets. I have used it to stop colds developing. I also used it to cure my cat of cat flu. Within a couple of days she went from high temperature and bubbles coming out of her nose to being completely normal and wanting to go again - without any vet treatment. I spray it in cuts to prevent infections and on my vegetables to prevent mould and make them last much longer.
